Medical Record Summaries: Frequently Asked Questions
Can I add new records to an existing summary?
New records cannot be added to existing summaries at this time. However, we’re working towards offering that functionality in the near future.
How does Parrot treat duplicated documents and information?
Identical documents will be summarized under one entry with reference links to all copies of the source material. All patient information and history will be summarized and found in the Patient Profile.
Does Parrot summarize medical bills?
Not yet, but we’d like to offer this in the future. Including bills in your upload will not negatively affect the summary.
Do I get billed for the documents that are not medical records but that are included in the ones I upload?
Yes, we bill for every uploaded page.
Can your AI handle handwritten notes?
Yes, our AI can read and assess handwritten notes. Please keep in mind that if it’s harder for humans to read, it will also be harder for the AI to read as well.
Can your AI summarize charts, forms with checkboxes, or other visual data?
Yes, our AI can also process such data. However, the likelihood of errors may be higher with hard-to-read markings, especially when combined with handwritten notes, compared to clean digital text.
Are your record summaries biased towards the plaintiff or the defense side?
No, our record summaries attempt to tell the full story in an unbiased way. However, we’re considering adding the ability for you to choose the side you’re representing, which would change the summary output accordingly.
Can you handle out of order documents?
Yes, our AI can read the dates of service and it organizes the summaries and chronologies accordingly. However, the AI will not rearrange your uploaded records.
What types of payment do you accept for medical record summaries?
We are only accepting credit card payments for medical record summaries at this time.
